The following persons are eligible for admission members in the CDI:

  • Members of the diplomatic corps and the departments for foreign affairs, and officers of international organisations
  • Natural and legal persons wishing to commit themselves to the realization of the aims and objects of the CDI.

Acquisition of membership

The acquisition of membership is subject to the following prerequisites

  • A written application to the Committee, requesting admission to the CDI
  • Review of the application by the Committee
  • Admission of the new member by the Committee.

In order to be able to review the application, the Committee may request the applicant to submit the following documents:

  • A copy of the passport
  • A curriculum vitae
  • An extract from the judicial records
  • Personal references

The Committee’s decision regarding admission or refusal of admission of a new member is final. A refusal of admission does not require any statement of reasons or justification on the part of the Club’s Committee.
